Liturgies for Preliminary Practices | Great Perfection Cycle
Liturgies for Preliminary Practices | Great Perfection Cycle
This text contains the liturgies for the preliminary practices known as the Namchak Ngöndro. It contains verses on the outer (or ordinary) preliminary practices from The United Intent of the Three Kayas (Kusum Gongdu), a terma cycle (hidden teaching) revealed by Pegyal Lingpa. Additionally, this text contains the inner (or extraordinary) preliminary practices from the terma cycle, The Great Perfection Cycle, entitled The Natural Freedom of Samsara and Nirvana, revealed by Tsasum Lingpa. Gochen Tulku Sangak Rinpoche compiled these two texts into one liturgy for recitation at the direction of Pegyal Lingpa. This book contains the extensive and concise versions of the preliminary practices and some prayers composed by Tsasum Lingpa and other Namchak lineage masters.
